How to Fill an Empty Page

Keeping a sketchbook can be a daunting task for new artists. There has been a time in all our lives where we find a blank slate staring back at us. We are left wondering, "where do I begin?"

While this can change from person to person, a little inspiration from others can do wonders! It can begin with watching films, listening to music, reading books, and much more.

I like to start of with a simple thought. "What do I want to see?" Chances are someone else will want to see it too. What's more you're doing something that makes you happy and takes care of your mental health and wellbeing.

Experimentation is a wonderful way to quickly fill in a sketchbook, try different art styles, different mediums! Combine, colors and shapes that you think might not work together. You don't know if they won't work until you try.

Another way to fill in your sketchbook is by using your sketchbook pages as a palette, and then go back and draw on top this can take that scary blank page feeling away! OR use the pages for collage later!

Creative tutorials are a chance to explore your creativity and try techniques that you've never explored or want to hone your skills at.
