High Quality at an Affordable Price. Crafted in Europe at a paper mill that has been operating since the 1600's! Crafting small batches at slow speeds allowing for finer control of quality. This approach produces a sheet of great strength that shares much of the same integrity of more expensive mould-made papers - Selection that's a first for watercolorists. Available in many formats, squares, landscapes, and even panoramas. Each block contains 15 sheets of 140lb acid-free, watercolor paper. Sized throughout, these sheets provide a crisp paper that can be painted on either side and will stand up to being "worked". EASY-BLOCK - These blocks are only glued on 2 edges (instead of the traditional 4) against the grain of the paper. Paint directly on the top sheet, and the glue along the two long edges will hold the sheet flat as you paint. This eliminates the need to have to tape/stretch the paper as the glued sides keep the paper from curling or twisting. When your painting is dry, slide a dull knife or letter opener in the open side under the top sheet. Release the glue along one edge and pull your painting free, to reveal a fresh, clean sheet beneath.
