Wood painting panels are an alternative to pre-stretched canvas. Made with a Basswood frame and 1/8" wood laminate face panels with Baltic Birch veneer, they offer a sturdy surface for paint application. The fine grain of the wood surface can be painted with or without traditional gesso application. Panel construction is attractively finished so framing is optional.
