Aluminum scoop coaters (also known as "emulsion coaters") are an excellent tool for applying photo emulsion to the silk screen. Simply fill with emulsion and pull along the screen to coat evenly. These scoop coaters feature 2 coating edges - a sharp edge for fine mesh counts and a rounded edge for lower mesh counts. Their generous holding depth allows for an ample amount of emulsion to be held at any given time. The flat bottom design allows them to sit easily on any flat surface between coating sessions. Each size comes with a plastic snap-on lid helping to prevent dust & particles from mixing with the emulsion.
