Yupo is a very unique, synthetic (polypropylene), non-porous surface that gives artists the flexibility to work in several different mediums to achieve unique and creative results. The acid-free, non-absorbent surface allows colours to lie on top of the paper producing brilliant, vibrant effects. Painting or drawing on this ultra-smooth surface is different than regular watercolour or drawing paper - so experiment, as the applications are infinite! Great for watercolour, mixed media, alcohol based inks and markers, pen and ink, airbrush, fluid acrylic, collage, pencil/graphite, oil pastel and more. Waterbased mediums are easily re-activated, even ones put down months ago. When you piece is done, allow Yupo to dry completely and spray it with a clear finishing spray to seal and protect once work is complete.
